Wait, the truck and trailer was lit on fire?

What better way to cover up the theft of three vans then to light the trailer on fire? No one will notice it was empty. Because stealing three sectioned VW busses painted bright orange with logos all over them wouldn't be conspicuous, right. Doomed from the start. What an idiot. Top 10 short sighted plans ever.

Yeah, they put the buses in some storage units and set the truck/trailer on fire.

Wow, they seem very 'extreme' in getting those cars.

I agree with you. When you set something on fire, people will notice quickly. It would be been easier to just leave the truck behind, perhaps cover it, then put the vw buses somewhere remote, not even close to the trailer and truck at at. Like a mile away.

I'm not a master theft, and yes burning something does destroy evidence, but it also alerts everyone to it. Clean inside the truck, with bleach, leave no trace behind, etc....
